Explorations With Dynamics

These short clips were made on an Android device using the application "Animator". These capture the essence and beginning of my journey with animation as a tool for creation.
Within this style, mundane objects and settings have been treated in a friendly and more adventurous manner. I even started to treat the process of creating these works as a meditation, due to the necessity of drawing frame by frame on a still image.
There were different moments of wonder that I have tried to create, the shortest moment of uncertainty could still yield the desired outcome. The element of surprise comes through when the boat seems to have morphed into a UFO and flies away out of the scene.
